Best Management Practices for Maintaining Soil Productivity in the Douglas-fir Region

The original Best Management Practices for Maintaining Soil Productivity in the Douglas-fir Region was published in 2011 as a reference guide for forest soils productivity and management.

 

More than 10 years later, it is still the go-to for regional forest soils management information.

An update is in process and will be published later this year.  Western Forestry and Conservation Association will host a series of hybrid webinars on the new BMPs in 2026.
